We use The STARFISH Awards for introducing babies as young as 12 weeks to swimming.

These lessons are undertaken in shallow water with the parent/guardian in the water holding and supporting the baby. The parent/guardian is taught to hold the baby securely yet safely, maintaining eye contact and frequently giving words of encouragement.

There are a series of 6 badges which are awarded as the baby progresses through the course.
